Open Question: Am I weird to not want to have sex with girls?

When I’m with my beautiful girlfriend, I don’t feel like wanting to have sex with her. I’m so content with making out! Like When I kiss her, I feel so happy that I can be there for her, that I can protect her, and that I’m so lucky to be here with such a gorgeous girl. Like I love her scent and skin and I could just hold her for hours and hours. I feel really good in my insides like they’re filled with helium because I’m happy that she understands me and listens to almost everything I tell her. I’d NEVER yell/hit her, and I’d never want to see her cry or hurt her. So even though I get erections when Im with her, I never think of sex. I don’t want to hurt her with sex (get her pregnant), I wanted to make it special after marriage..we’re both virgins.
Am I really weird for not wanting sex with her? My friends think Im ridiculous.
We’re both 17 btw.
